January 1 2022 my husband found me unresponsive and talking gibberish. He called 911 and I was taken to Ascension Ozaukee St Mary's. I was being attacked by several different problems, I was in Afib, I had a raging UTI, I was in Heart failure and I had severe Cellulitis in my right leg. We found out that everything was caused by the UTI which was unsymptomatic. My situation was grave. I was out of my head for 6 days. When I came to, I had totally lost those 6 days. I had hallucinations and horrible dreams. After stabilizing me, the problems were attended to one by one. I had a Cardioversion to get me back in normal heart rhythm, my meds were changed, added to and reevaluated for dosage. I had had a myriad of tests to help with diagnosis of my underlying problems. Without the speedy response, the availability of doctors, nurses and technicians I would have died. I am enjoying life today because of my medical care.
